Stuff going to a good cause

I have had this drawing of a kitty for awhile now, and its finally going to a good cause. Every year the Wayne County Humane Society has an auction at the Quality Inn in Newark with all the proceeds going right to the shelter. My friend Andi was nice enough to get the framing done for this picture so that it is ready for the auction, which isnt until February 7th, but we were both excited to see how it looked framed so we didnt wait. It was done in colored Pencil. The other item I made was the cutting board and spoon that I finished just in time before I had to leave for school. It has some really nice quality wood in it, the close up shows the unique grain patterns well. Hope you enjoy.

Its Finally Done.

My main project for this summer is finally finished, a tack trunk for my friend to hold her horse and riding equipment. I started with a design that i came up with after looking at a bunch of other peoples tack trunks at her barn. It changed a little through out the process of making it, but the main idea stayed the same. Some of my favorite parts are the accents on the edges of the box, and the box on the inside. Its removable and slides back and forth on a little ledge. The quality of the pictures isnt that great but its the best that I could do. This whole project was really fun to make and what i think would look nice for next summers project is a vignette of her jumping with her horse on the top or front. But that wont be for awhile

Maddies Room!

I finished painting a piece on My friends little sisters wall in her room. She wanted graffiti so I drew something up for her and got right to work on it. Here is one picture of what it looked like when I finished just the design, and one with the new color that will be in the rest of the room. The rest of the room hasnt been finished yet, but here thinking checker bursts with the same bright colors as the piece. Enjoy.
